Natasha and Krishan Kumar celebrated their love with a spectacular wedding at the Novotel Convention Center in Suva, Fiji. With 300 guests traveling from across Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia, and the United States, the couple created a truly memorable gathering. Having met in Fiji back in 2016, Natasha and Krishan chose to marry in the country where most of their family and friends reside, selecting the Novotel Convention Center to accommodate their large guest list. With just two months to plan, the pair relied on countless emails, calls, and Pinterest inspiration to bring their vision to life—without the help of a wedding planner—making the process both challenging and rewarding.

Getting Ready
On the morning of our wedding, Hair and Makeup Fiji did my hair and make up. My bridal gown was designed by a talented Indian designer, and I paired it with elegant accessories I had sourced from England. Krishan and his groomsmen wore stylish attire from India.
The Ceremony
Our ceremony took place at the Novotel Convention Center in Suva, the perfect venue to comfortably host over 300 of our family and friends. The décor was beautifully arranged by Youngsters, who did an amazing job bringing our vision to life, as can be seen in the photos. We embraced a traditional South-North Indian wedding style, with a rich color palette of red, gold, and white, blending sacred customs with personal touches. My garland, made from fresh flowers by Occasional Garlands Fiji, added a fragrant and vibrant touch. The ceremony itself was a heartfelt mix of ritual and meaning, with traditional vows guided by sacred mantras, creating an intimate atmosphere filled with love. What truly made the day unforgettable was being surrounded by our families and loved ones, whose blessings made every moment even more special.
The Photography
For our wedding photography, we chose Lyka Photography, a decision we made even before setting our wedding date. They had previously captured our couple shoot at the InterContinental Resort, and we were certain they were the perfect team to document our big day. We wanted bright, vibrant photos that beautifully highlighted our traditional rituals, and Lyka Photography delivered exactly that. I absolutely love the images—they capture not just how everything looked, but how it felt, preserving the emotions, laughter, and love that surrounded us throughout the day.
