Beach elopements at Toberua Island
Warm sands, the sea breeze, you and the person you love the most – catch the sunset in a private beach wedding as only your closest guests or witnesses celebrate with you. We can provide witnesses, as well as the perfect candlelit dinner to bring your special day to a close. Toberua is the perfect island retreat for a smaller wedding. If you’re intending on a longer stay, you and your new spouse can also enjoy snorkelling under the stars, or indulging in our Honeymoon Bonus package in one of our waterfront bures.

1. What does your resort offer to Brides & Grooms in terms of a Fiji experience?
An authentic, island wedding experience for those looking for a small, intimate wedding or those wanting a larger full island affair. We offer a unique, personally tailored service to every Bride and Groom from the planning stages through to the big day.
2. What are some of the things that make your resort unique?
Being able to book the whole resort for your wedding celebrations – this can include Hens and Bucks celebrations, trips and activities and the freedom to design your stay just the way you would like it.
3. Do you have any recommendations for pre-wedding activities that can be arranged?
Hens/Bucks Parties (for example, reef golf and path putting tournament, fishing, Picnic Island trip, snorkeling etc) , Themed Evenings pre/post wedding.
4. What are the choices for the ceremony? I.e. chapels, beachfront, intimate, grand?
Our Bride and Groom have the choice of a number of locations around the resort, usually they prefer a beachfront option but we can also offer pier, garden, poolside or open air Loloma bure. Upon arrival our team will give them a tour to finalise the location if they prefer.
5. What sort of food & beverage packages are available?
We have three different wedding meal options to choose from, offering a range of delicious options in either a set menu or Fijian buffet style. We also have a 2 hour standard or deluxe beverage package with the option to add on additional hours.
For the rest of your stay with us, our gourmet meal plan includes a tropical and cooked breakfast, two-course lunch and three-course dinner. We also offer a half board option which includes the tropical and cooked breakfast and three-course dinner. Our Fijian chefs prepare two-course lunches and three-course dinners inspired by local delicacies and showcasing local and international flavours. Our chef is happy to cater to special dietary requirements with prior
notice – please let us know your preferences. A children’s menu is also available, with dinner set earlier at 6.00pm.
6. Do you do honeymoon packages? What can make your honeymoon really special?
Our lush, four-acre tropical garden is full of secluded nooks for newlyweds to find some alone time. There are opportunities both to explore and to do nothing, from relaxing in our saltwater pool, night snorkeling with an onsite diving academy, eco-conscious spa and wellness treatments for newlyweds, or going further off shore to nearby villages and islands.
We also have an exceptional gourmet menu that draws on local and sustainable produce, as well as international flavours to your liking. Our Honeymoon Bonus package is an add-on that comes free of charge if you stay five nights in one of our oceanfront bures. This package treats you to a bottle of sparkling wine, two Toberua sulus for both of you to keep, as well as half-hour massages for ultimate relaxation.
