Tell us a little about your service background?
My professional experience in the wedding industry began twenty years ago where I was planning weddings and events within a number of top hotels in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and London. This then led to a move into catering, working for a well-known Sydney caterer organising high profile weddings and events at some of Sydney’s most unique venues.
I have had the pleasure of organising over 750 weddings from 2 – 500 guests, each with a unique style and varying budget.
What inspired you to start your business and how long have you been offering wedding planning services?
I started Chelsea Jayne Weddings in 2008 after working in the wedding and events industry already for 13 years. We started out and only serviced weddings in Sydney, Hunter Valley and Southern Highlands.
In 2009 we visited the beautiful Island of Fiji and noticed what an amazing place this is to have a wedding. We visited all the Mainland and Mamanuca Island resorts looking at their wedding facilities, location, and accommodation for her future clients. Over the last eight years I have been specialising in destination weddings to Fiji building my relationships with the resorts and also local suppliers.
