As a full-time photographer, I split my time between documenting lovely couples on one of the most important days of their lives and shooting the raw power and beauty of the ocean. Weddings and surfing might seem like different worlds, but to me, they’re both about connection, energy, and capturing the magic of the moment.

I’m Fabio Silvestre, a wedding and ocean photographer originally from Brazil and now based in the Fiji Islands. After years capturing love stories and ocean moments across Australia’s coastline, I relocated to Fiji with my family to focus on what I love most — documenting connection, nature, and emotion through timeless imagery. My work blends a fine-art sensibility with a relaxed, natural approach that allows couples to be fully present in the moment.

My style is a mix of storytelling and artistry. I’m drawn to natural light, candid emotions, and those in-between moments that truly define your day. I love weaving the beauty of Fiji’s landscapes into each frame — soft sunsets, ocean reflections, tropical textures — so your wedding photos feel as authentic as they were to experience.

Absolutely. I photograph weddings and elopements across the islands — from Denarau, Coral Coast, and the Mamanuca Islands to more remote destinations like Savusavu and Yasawa.Each island has its own magic, and I love tailoring every experience to reflect the couple’s vision — whether it’s a barefoot elopement on a secluded sandbar or an elegant celebration at a luxury resort. All travel and logistics are thoughtfully managed, ensuring a seamless and effortless experience wherever your story unfolds.

All collections include beautifully edited high-resolution images, a private online gallery to easily share with family and friends, and a complimentary engagement or couple session to connect before the wedding day.
For multi-day weddings or elopements, I also offer optional underwater, sunrise, or golden-hour portrait sessions, along with drone coverage when conditions allow. Every package is curated to reflect your story — from the quiet moments to the grand celebrations.

Most couples book 9–12 months in advance, especially for the high season (May to October) when resort and vendor availability can be limited. Elopements and intimate celebrations can sometimes be booked closer to the date depending on my travel schedule — so it’s always worth getting in touch early.
