What is the inspiration behind your business and how long has your service been around?
Big Blue Fiji launched in January 2018 and was a dream long before that. We wanted to create something a little different, something unique, that would allow our guests to experience the beauty of Fiji both above and below the surface… Where they could pick their own destiny, go where they want to go, and adventure or relax as much as they wish!

How many different travel itineraries do you offer?
All our trips are personlised to our guests. We offer tailor-made overnight diving, fishing, spearfishing, surfing, or sailing charters Fiji wide, as well as tailor-made day charters around the beautiful Mamanuca Islands on board ‘Aparima’, our Lagoon 440 catamaran.

What is included in your packages?
Our overnight honeymoon charters include the following as standard:
• On the ground transfers to and from your charter
• Private use of our Lagoon 440 catamaran ‘Aparima’
• Accommodation in a queen-bed cabin with en suite
• All meals and snacks; drinks including water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, local spirits, and wines
• Highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable captain, second captain, chef, and dive instructor / guide
• Snorkeling gear
• Guided snorkelling
• Snorkelling with manta rays (in season – April-October)
• Motorised and non-motorised equipment
• Paddle boarding
• Biscuit rides
• Wake skates
• Marine park and port fees
• All local governmental taxes

• 23ft 60hp longboat for fishing, spearfishing, diving, and surfing

How many can you cater on your boat at a time?
We can cater up to eight guests overnight.

We meticulously plan each charter down to the finest detail to ensure you truly experience the trip of a lifetime.

Our crew have, between them, 76 years’ extensive, on-the-ground knowledge of Fiji and will guide and support you through the whole booking process before departure, and will be there to make memories with you on board.

What is currently your most requested tour/trip?
From awesome day charters to incredible overnight charters exploring the islands – each has been completely different and that’s what we love.

What is the main highlight of your tour?
Guests say time and time again that what they love is the flexibility. Each day you decide what you want to do and we will do it. Fiji isn’t about shedules, it’s about adventure, exploring, and enjoying Fiji time.

What is the best time of the year to take the tour and why?
Fiji is beautiful all year round. Our winter months, April to October, offer beautiful clear days and cool nights. The water temperature is cooler too. With the trade winds during this time of year we do tend to get windier days which is great fun at full sail! Our summer months, October to April, tends to be hotter, however, the ocean at this time of year is beautiful, with many a day spent sailing on glass.
