What is the inspiration behind your tour and how long has your service been around?
Big Blue Fiji was recently launched after three years of meticulous planning, researching, and experimenting after we noticed a gap in the market for a truly bespoke experience in Fiji.
The inspiration behind Big Blue Fiji was to create extraordinary tailor-made live-a-board and day charters that offer people the opportunity to experience Fiji as it should be.
Our directors and crew are a mix of dive instructors, area specialists, and explorers who are passionate about and live and breathe what they sell, and they have extensive on the ground knowledge of Fiji.
How many different tours do you offer?
All of our charters are tailor-made to ensure each guest experiences their trip of a lifetime, so no charters are ever the same.
Do you offer specials for groups?
On our day charters, we can offer a 10% discount for groups over 15 guest, and a 12.5% discount for groups over 20 guests. Each of our liveaboard charters are tailor-made, and therefore specials would be dependent on a variety of factors – how many guests are traveling, where guests wish to travel to, what activities they wish to do, and how many nights they want to travel for.
What is included in your tour packages?
Our overnight charters are for a minimum of four and maximum of eight guest and include the following:
– Accommodation in a queen-bed cabin with en suite
– All meals and snacks; drinks including water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, local spirits, and wines
– Highly qualified, experienced captain, chef, and dive instructor
– Marine park & port fees
– Big Blue Fiji travel pack and itinerary
– Transfers on first and last day of cruise
– Intro dive and diver certification courses,shark encounter dive, night dive, fluoro dive (if included in the itinerary)
– Big – game fishing, spearing, popper fishing (if included in the itinerary)
– Guided snorkeling
– Manta ray snorkeling and night snorkeling (in season)
– Snorkeling gear and non-motorised equipment
– Paddle boarding
– Guided island trekking
– Cultural Visits and experiences
Our day charter includes are depended on whether the basic or VIP package is booked.

What makes your tour different from others?
What makes us different is that we custom design and build day charters, live-a-board charters, and events to ensure our guests have an unparalleled experience. We take into account the most minute details when custom building our charters. We take our guests to pristine locations that we believe will offer them the best experiences of Fiji depending on what they wish to do. We have a passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced crew from both Fiji and other parts of the world. We create bespoke food and beverage menus which take into account any particular dietary requirements of our guests. All this and more creates an experience guests will not find anywhere else.
What is currently your most requested tour/trip?
All of our day and overnight charters are tailor made. However, our most requested area are the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands as they are easily accessible from Nadi International Airport and Nadi and Denarau hotels, and offer spectacular diving, unparalleled surf, and some of the best spots for big-game fishing on the planet.
What is the main highlight of your tour?
Since our charters are tailor made, the highlights are dependent on guests requirements. If they enjoy diving, we will take them to some of the best dive spots in the country; from rich coral reefs teeming with marine line, adrenaline-filled shark dives, to spectacular underwater caves and wrecks.
If they enjoy fishing, we will take them to our favourite fishing spots, where they will have the opportunity to catch the ‘fish of a lifetime’.
If they enjoy surfing, we will take them to the best breaks in Fiji. And if they simply wish to relax and have a little R&R, we can build in spa days, private beaches and a little pampering.

The best time of the year depends on the needs of the client. Be it diving, surfing, or fishing, we will recommend the best time of the year for the best experience for their tailor-made charter.
