Grossart Ever After is a small, local business that specialises in personalised gifts for newly weds, newly engaged, bridal parties and more. I work with you to design and create beautiful handmade gifts that are timeless and sentimental.
The whole wedding process is so special starting at your proposal and engagement, selecting your bridal party, spending time with your nearest and dearest during your bachelorette party or bridal shower, the morning of the wedding, the ceremony, right down to your reception and of course, your marriage! Grossart Ever After celebrates it all! There is a lot of thought that goes into designing your gift and I think there is something really special about a gift that has been handmade. It is also a great option for the couple or person who has everything!
Question & Answers
Tell us a little about your background?
I actually have a post graduate diploma in medical imaging and work full time in the medical field – Grossart Ever After is my side business and passion project! So I don’t have a degree in event management or business etc. but I love planning! I’m definitely a planner, an organizer and I love being creative. So when my husband and I were going through the planning process for our own wedding I was in absolute heaven! To add to that, the sentiment behind it made it all the more special. I’ve found that a lot of couples can find this process a little overwhelming, especially when it comes to the finer details and that can definitely take away from the magic of it all. So I’m committed to ensuring that your experience with Grossart Ever After is tailored to you, your wedding and budget and that it is enjoyable and memorable. It is a very special time after all!
What inspired you to start your business and how long has your business been around?
During our wedding planning we found it very difficult to find beautiful, locally handmade gifts for our bridal party. We would either have to source these items overseas and then pay the horrendous shipping fees for them, or just create them ourselves. With a great eye for detail, a creative mind and a passion for all things wedding, Grossart Ever After came to fruition (we are only 2 and a half months old)! My selection of products are things that my friends and I love and wanted for our weddings, but couldn’t easily source.
What services do you offer Brides & Grooms?
We currently have a selection of bridesmaids robes and personalised hangers, with the core of our business being our personalised glassware. This includes wine, beer, whiskey, cocktail and shot glasses and of course our best seller, our champagne flutes. We also aim to launch a small selection of new products to choose from every month or two. So keep an eye out for more bridal robes, stemware, paper goods, jewellery and more!
Are your accessories readily available?
Most of the products are handmade to order due to the personalisation aspect. The bridal robes and stationery are usually readily available. If stock has run out I would allow about a month until stock has been replenished.
Do you also provide customized accessories? How much lead time do you need for orders of custom made items to be confirmed?
Yes, most of our items are customised and I would allow up to 10 working days for you to receive the order once payment has been processed. For larger orders I would allow up to 4 weeks. Our best sellers are our personalised champagne flutes and our personalised hangers.
What inspires your creations?
Wedding trends are always changing. When I got married in 2015 the rustic theme had just appeared. Last year big floral pieces and arches were in full force and this year, the relaxed, boho bridal theme is definitely taking over! I am very much in love with all things wedding! If I could have my way my husband and I would get married every year! So I definitely like to keep my eye on the wedding scene. Wedding magazines, blogs, pinterest and even instagram are all very helpful for giving me more ideas for future releases.
Top tip for brides to consider while choosing their accessories?
Ask questions, bring swatches or mood boards (even if its a few photos on your phone!), and most importantly, follow your heart.
What do you enjoy the most about what you do?
I love it all. Seeing a customer’s order come to life is very exciting. I occasionally do a little photoshoot of the products as well to send to the customer so they can have a little sneak preview of their order. This creates a lot of excitement for them too and keeps it very engaging and fun! The photos and feedback I get back would be the most rewarding part of my job.
