I am a beach loving Queenslander who lived in Tokyo for 10 years before moving to London to buy fashion for design houses in the USA. I am back in QLD now!
How did you begin your business?
Sanjewels was born when I was living in London and travelled regularly to Europe as a fashion buyer for design houses in USA and Australia – I was inspired to do my own designs and create my own label from scratch.
What do you offer Brides?
Beach weddings in beautiful coastal locations around the world are becoming so popular – I wanted to create beautiful foot jewels for barefoot brides who sink their feet into the sand while they say “I do”.
What do you enjoy the most about what you do?
I love playing with sparkly jewels and making brides feel beautiful on one of the most important days of their lives. Their wedding dress is not complete without jewels on their feet!
Why is your product suitable for destination brides?
A lot of destination brides will be barefoot brides, I am here to provide beautiful foot jewels for them!
Your favourite piece from the collection and why?
The French Riviera in soft gold is my favourite piece from the collection – you feel and look like a million bucks as soon as you put them on your feet.
Top tip for Brides on their day?
To get a matching manicure/pedicure the day before so it’s fresh and not chipped on the day and in the photos! Go for a french tip, a soft pastel pink or lavender colour.
Where do you get your design inspiration from?
From my travels around the world to exotic places like Istanbul and Asia also gorgeous coastlines of Italy and Croatia.
What has been your most popular choice for Fiji Brides?
The golden French Riviera barefoot Sanjewels always seem to be the most popular!
